Thomas Ngauru
President
Thomas governs and manages our association with the rules in our constitution, he is responsible for the execution and enforcement and is the backbone of the organization. He also coordinates and manages events that are run by CIBA and is one of our level one coaches that facilitates training sessions.

Ngaoa Ranginui
Vice President
Ngaoa overlooks the organization while our President (Thomas) is away. She is also our lead coach whom also develops our more senior U19 players and is also our Cook Islands representative and board member of the Badminton Oceania Executive Board since 2018.

Makiroa Mataio
Secretary
Makiroa has been a part of CIBA since 2017. He joined the organization as a committee member in 2018 and was elected the following year as our current Secretary. His role includes overseeing meetings and engaging with our stakeholders in applying for funding and sponsorship.

Akhim Tikaroa
Treasurer
Our current Treasurer Ahkim oversights our general finance. Making sure our book keeping and our record keeping are up to date, also producing financial reporting for transparency. Ahkim also facilitates our social nights and other events we run.

Gail Eraio
Patroness
Gail Eraio was given the Patroness role in 2018 and is the first woman to be bestowed with this honor. Her previous roles included being a Treasurer in 2016 and Secretary in 2017. Mama Gail was also a board member for Badminton Oceania in 2016 for two terms.

Jean Akavi
Administration Officer
Jean Akavi has been appointed as our New Administration Officer. Jean brings into the team a wealth of knowledge in the finance sector. She will be liasing with our president to help organise and the smooth running of the association

Hebrew Tom
Shuttletime Coordinator
Hebrew is our core person for delivering and facilitating Shuttle Time program in schools and the community. He is currently a Shuttle Time Coordinator and a level one coach. Hebrew also does coaching and helps out with running events

Tinomana Naea
Committee Member

Originally a social player, Tinomana has also joined the organization’s committee and is currently a Shuttle Time tutor. In his free time, you can find Tinomana delivering Shuttle Time classes in schools, colleges and the community.

John Taulu
Committee Member
John Taulu is another one of our Shuttle Time tutors and level one coaches. John’s main focus is delivering coaching sessions to our Junior Development Squad players. In his spare time, you can catch John restringing racquets.

Whitney Raukete-Henry
Committee Member
Whitney has been on the committee since 2017. Whitney’s main focus was to help assist with the program and events. Apart from volunteering her time, you could find Whitney playing at social nights.
