Shuttle Time

Shuttle Time is a grassroots badminton programme supporting the principle that children should lead a healthy and active life, both in and out of school. The Badminton World Federation’s goal is to make badminton one of the world’s most popular and accessible school sports.

Badminton Cook Islands regularly operates Shuttle Time sessions within schools, youth groups, church groups and more. Click here to learn more about Shuttle Time and how you could get involved.

AirBadminton

Did you know you could play badminton outside? The outdoor game of AirBadminton was launched in 2020 and allows anyone and everyone to play badminton in their garden, on the beach or in the park.

Badminton Cook Islands has the appropriate equipment for players and groups to play AirBadminton, with organised AirBadmitnon tournaments and ‘Come and Try’ sessions taking place throughout the year. Find out more here.

Community Open Days

We work with organisations to implement community open days. In the past, we have partnered with government agencies and local businesses asking for days where they can come out and try Badminton as part of their challenge or activity.

Contact Thomas Ngauru to set up date and time – email thomasutangauru@gmail.com

There is possibility of delivering out to Church groups or Youth groups. There is free Shuttle Time classes delivered at the St Joseph Hall every Mondays for children. The program is delivered by Hebrew and Tinomana, our Shuttle Time tutors. Resources are provided.
